Antonis Palles is a well known Greek clay sculptor and creator of the "Not Excavated Yet" Collection. This collection consists of ceramic artifacts which are inspired by ancient civilizations.
He was born in 1965, in Athens, Greece. His origin is from Armolia, the potters’ village in Chios island - Greece, since 600 b.C. He is involved with clay sculpturing since he was a child, under the guidance of his father, Isidoros, a potter and painter of Ancient Greek ceramic arts’ replica artwork . For many years he worked in the Greek popular-art-industry creating models on clay and stone. His curriculum vitae includes studies in drawing, wood sculpturing (exhibition at Municipality of Athens, 1993), music and theatre. Samples of his work on artificial aging can be seen on Trojan vases collection at Greek National War Museum and on large olive jars at Olive Museum in Sparta. Cooperates with some of the best touristic shops in Greece. He has designed and produced custom-made clay artifacts for outlets such as Acropolis Museum, ODAP (National Greek Museums’ organization), The British Museum, RIJSK Museum Amsterdam, Cycladic Art Museum, Hellenic Duty Free shops, Costa Navarino Resorts, Wynn Resorts, Pierides Museum Cyprus - and more. Custom made creations.
